How to use this tool

  1. Choose one supported file.
  2. Choose an unsigned PDF. The result is checked against the original document and decoded image pixels.
  3. Agree to server processing, run the tool and download the result.

Processing and files

Your file is uploaded to the DocComet server. Input and output are encrypted, kept for up to 1 hour and excluded from backups. You can delete the result earlier.

One file up to 20 MB. No account needed. Shared daily and queue limits apply. Up to 100 pages; one attempt uses 2 of 15 shared daily units.

Before you start

The result can be larger. This changes storage encoding; it is not PDF repair, sanitisation or redaction. Scripts, links and attachments remain. Encrypted, signed and XFA files are refused. Images above four million pixels or eight-bit samples, and files exceeding decoded-stream limits, are unsupported. Download and inspect the copy.

One send means one document workflow sent to one recipient or recipient group; a bulk delivery to 100 independent recipients uses 100 sends. Test failures do not consume sends. No automatic overage charges: a paid top-up would require confirmation. Proposed top-up: €5 / 100 sends. Paid identity verification, SMS, qualified electronic signatures and trusted timestamps are not included.
